It's the Summer Solstice, the longest day, but with the weather we are having you wouldn't notice.
Midsummer is a big day in Sweden, especially Midsummer Eve when the main celebrations happen, but years ago the government rationalised the holiday so the "official" Midsummer happens on the Friday and Saturday following the solstice - no need for a day off work!  This year it's a good thing as the weekend weather is supposed to be good!
