Persian Jewels - Love in the Mist - Nigella

Grown from seed.

Love these flowers & their seedheads are interesting too.

House chores, rested afternoon as was too hot, then late afternoon out in the garden.

Not wishing to howk out the wildflowers (some say weeds) as they are now in flower. The bees & beasties seem to like them best.

Cut some of the wood aven seedheads & I'll take them up to the woodland next time out as they spread well in the garden.

Cut back one of the brooms as some of the branches dead & dry break, may try to dig it out at root as have another & they self seed easily. Gives a bit more space to the elderflower.

Waited until after Sewing Bee to go out & water the young plants & seedlings - hopefully, they will absorb as much before it dries out again.
