With the amount of jackdaws around here at the moment I've had to re-sort the feeders out and change them around a bit.  Also purchased a new peanut feeder which is squirrel proof and woodpecker friendly and they visit it on and off virtually all day.  The jackdaws pick up the peanut bits from the ground.  Tried counting them the other day, think there's 20+ and they never stop talking all day long!   Also had a poorly youngster who sadly died over night.
