what a difference a day makes

We were up with the larks this morning and out of the door by 7.30 as my husband’s BMW was due it’s first MOT although he hasn’t done 10k yet. He filled up with petrol today and topped £90 although the car is very economical. We dropped the car off and walked into Exeter along the canal and river, so nice to see some different scenery and it was hot. We did some shopping, not food, and then stopped for a drink. Normally we would have walked back but I didn’t want to push myself although I have still managed 4.5 miles today. We took the bus back after a hiccup and nearly catching the wrong bus, I had scanned my bus pass. Picked up the car and then did a weekly food shop, then home, 7 hours out of the house. I am bushed now. Spotted this bicycle and flowers amongst all the road works going on in Exeter.
