Catalpa Tree

This tree always fascinates me with its unusually large leaves. Every year it surprises me, and I think it is not a common tree in UK - but more at home in a hotter and sunnier country than ours? It looks very healthy though and it has found a place where it can flourish! It was a pity that today is the day that the green bins are emptied - I had not noticed it when I took the photo!
