Totally Tangerine

First Dahlia flower of the year, and I think quite a bit earlier than last year. I gave the plants a good start in the nice warm potting shed and then quite a while in the greenhouse.
The border is very dry though, and I am almost hoping for some rain at the weekend as it’s a real struggle to get the hose up there.
I have some more nice plants coming along in pots which should go to market if all goes well!
