Butterfly Bunzini Checks In

Here is a picture of our littlest yard rabbit, Butterfly Bunzini. It's getting a little bit bigger. "You look like you put on a few ounces!" my husband says to the tiny rabbit. And yep, that's the milkweed patch, where he or she loves to hang out! I took this picture in the morning in our front yard before embarking on my daily walk.

Heavy rain met me before I got home, and I was glad I'd taken my umbrella. As soon as the rain stopped, the power went out at our house! It was out for an hour and a half before coming back on. Who even knows why this stuff happens?

The big story of the day, though, was about sugar. Or rather, NO sugar. Here is my tale about sugar:

So we were running out of sugar. Yes, a 4-pound bag of regular white sugar that I use to make the bird juice for the hummingbird feeders. So we decided to go shopping. We made a grocery list on Monday night, and on Tuesday afternoon, we went to Walmart. At the end of our shopping trip, I reviewed the list, checked everything off that was on the list. Felt pretty darn good about it. Spent over a hundred bucks! Got lots of good stuff!

*sigh* Cut to the chase. On the way home in the car, guess what I realized that we had forgotten to buy: SUGAR!  *great big head-desk!*. (Somewhere in all of this, there is a Very Bad Country Song, just waiting to be written!)

Our soundtrack song for this day is, you guessed it, Johnny Cash, with Sugartime. And here's a bonus SECOND song, suggested by a friend: the Archies, with Sugar Sugar!
