Sunshine and shadows

A steamy day, mixed heavy cloud and sunshine. I had a little walk around Saint Laurent, so here's a lazy blip of the oldest part of the village. One for the door collection.

My main entertainment apart from that has been watching RMT general secretary Mick Lynch slaughtering every journalist sent out to interview him. I love his style. He must be a poker player (and also an astute negotiator) because he remains absolutely deadpan. He listened expressionlessly while one of the dimmest Tory MPs, Jonathan Gullis, lengthily asked him to apologise to the public for the disruption, and then coolly went for the jugular in his reply. A lot of politicians could learn how to deal with hostile questioning from him.
