Sunshine

Sunshine all day. Blue sky all day.

The Magpies are raising a single chick. Too hot for much young bird or squirrel activity at the feeders.

Despite my best efforts (no-mowing and planting choices) there are fewer bees and other insects visiting our garden this year. This month I expected the plants and flowers to be buzzing with the sound and movement of pollinators. I think we had bumper numbers during the lockdown summers.
