It was raining at sunrise this morning so there was no hope of getting a summer solstice sunrise and  there was very little sun until late afternoon although it clouded over later again.  Fortunately at the time of the sunset there was clear sky to the west so I managed to get the sun as it disappeared at 2 minutes after 10. Those with good eyesight might be able to see a sliver of silver as a plane very high up makes it way across Scotland.

(Although it was bright the colour appears more vivid here than in my photo.)
