Exbury Gardens

We left around 10.00 and it took an hour to get to Exbury.  Previously home of the Rothschilds.  Initially disappointed with the garden it did improve the more we explored.  The view to the estuary was beautiful and felt like something from Famous Five as we made our way through the woods down to the estuary - we just needed a picnic with lashings of ginger beer.  Howard came too and enjoyed the day and did calm down eventually!  Lovely day in the sunshine.
