Emperor dragonfly

Went out to terry and Barbara’s and they have these flying insects emerging from their carapaces from time to time. This one was just about to fly. Barbara removed some weed the other day and pulled up one leaving its carapace behind before it had dried out. She placed it on the gunnera and slowly it dried out. She has some fabulous pictures of the process! Will add the picture of the carapace on Terry’s hand later!

Just at the theatre royal waiting for the start of The Cher Show. A new musical with hopefully excellent music!
