Frog Huntress
It was a comfortable morning to walk at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, not too hot or too humid. Fletcher and I took lots of photos of pretty flowers and one of my favorite photo subjects...Frogs. While we were 'hunting' for amphibians, we spotted this large, about 4', Banded Water Snake. We've seen this impressive, nonvenomous reptile several times before in the same area of the Gardens. I was able to get fairly close without threatening her and got a few decent shots before she went on her frog-hunting way.
