After the rain

I found lots of these this morning, most of them had curled up and turned to a withered mush!! But, there were still one of two to be photographed. This one was holding water from the overnight rain, and had a fallen leaf in the water. However, the gills one the day :)

I bought some wool to knit my granddaughter a hat, a request from Ella - "Nana, could you knit me one of those hats that come over my ears and has tassels hanging down, pink, white and grey please" . So, that's what's going to happen here along with my book which is holding my attention too; commenting may be pushed aside a little. We will see.
