Late Night View of Sauchiehall Street

Having said it was a 5 day working week. I forgot that I am going to Glasgow with my partner to see Elvis Costello.. The train strike means having to stay overnight as there are no late night trains back to Edinburgh..

A cloudy day, and a quiet morning at work with meetings. I do manage a quick lunchtime walk, and finish work early. We get the train to Glasgow ok and check in to the hotel and go for an early tea. We needn't have bothered, as the doors don't open until much later. Nice to hace a midweek meal out.

A great concert by Elvis, Extra. Mobile phone shot doesn't do it justice, but I never take my good camera to gigs.

The hotel is only a couple of minutes from the venue. View is from our room on the ninth floor. The hotel has 16 floors, so you might be able to see the curvature of the earth from the top
