Dropped off to my spade to be sharpened on the way to get the bus to town. Just arrived in time at my new Textiles and Cells course. There was c 15 of us there , including just one man. Mostly retired people (like me of course) but probably about 4-5 who were younger. Interesting intro to the whole project and then we had a go at heat printing. Colours were a bit too garish for me but we got some interesting effects. There will be another technique next week.
It was hot when I got home so spent a couple of hours in the kitchen with the french doors open making Js curtains. Went to the Avenue for shopping when it had cooled down a bit and saw these gorgeous alliums in a neighbour’s garden
