Elizabeth Colborne - Woodblock printer

Elizabeth Colborne was a wonderful artist. My friend N had found one of her Woodblock prints at an auction and sent it off for restoration.

Today, he asked me to come see him. When I arrived, he was psyched to open a package containing this print and a restored photograph belonging to Wayne Albee.

I couldn't believe, in both instances, that I was looking at originals. It's a bloody amazing feeling.

Colborne is one of my favourite artists and is featured in the Sweet and Easy video.

N taught me that Art is permanent energy and to to this day I believe him.
