Today's hike was 4.5 miles with 1200' of elevation gain...to the top of Cerro Grande.

Cerro Grande is one of the mountains on the edge of the Valles Caldera in the Jemez moutain range. It was windy today. Yes, on top of the mountain, the anemometer says 22.4 mph at 10,200'. The highest wind speed that I saw today was 28mph.

I wondered if my Canon G-9 would have enough depth of field to create an image ranging from the end of my arm to infinity. Seems like it worked.
