Ely Cathedral
Today we took the train from Ely to Nottingham and took a walk around Ely and the cathedral including the Blip of this huge building. A Norman cathedral with the current building dating back to 1083 and was granted cathedral status in 1109 it's also known as "The ship of the Fens" due to it being visible so far across the fens.
Ely is also home to the only house still standing of Oliver Cromwell which he inherited in 1635.
