A summer’s day.
For me the weather has been perfect today.
Sunshine, 19C but felt hotter, and a very pleasant slight breeze.
An early drive to Junction 27 to collect an online order from M & S.
( One top perfect, the other to take back tomorrow)
Bought a few bits while there, including some of our favourite Cornish Cruncher biscuits.
Then into Boots for a few more bits and pieces.
Bought a book at half price from W H Smiths.
Unfortunately the shop is closing down. Will miss it, although I don’t buy from there very often.
The rest of the day has been doing a bit of everything. Washing dried in no time at all.
lunch and tea had sat out in the garden.
There was a constant hum of bees, and the blackbirds singing. Unfortunately the wood pigeons were also creating havoc. Chasing each other everywhere. They are such a pest.
Now to do some watering before settling down to watch the next episode of Sherwood.
First two episodes were excellent . A great lineup of brilliant actors.
Makes it more interesting for us as we remember the Miner’s Strike.
