Not what I wanted!

It was very sunny here but not too warm - very pleasant in fact. I saw otter and took loads of photos but it was a bit far away. I saw sedge warbler and took loads of photos but it was a bit far away. You may know where this is going - I saw an osprey hunting successfully and being mobbed by a pirate (a gull in this case) and took lots of photos.

Nearly every single photo failed to come out and be usable! Heat haze was worse than I thought and it ruined all my longer distance shots. All I had left were this gull and the back end of a buzzard.
