or just a blurry shot …. Loads of them down by the river at Whale today. I had a dip in the pool - a lot colder than the lake, but still lush. A bird flew straight towards us, low to the water, then turned at the last minute - a kingfisher, close enough touch.

Earlier we'd had a sound-kit rendezvous at the Shap junction -  R driving on the motorway for the first time since passing her test.
