Whatcom Falls Park Owl

There are several Barred owls in Whatcom Falls Park and some at Cornwall Park that I know of as well but, being there at the right time is the challenge. Early morning, late at night and in the evening when the sun is setting, and they can soak up some rays sitting on a branch is the prime time. Early this morning I ran across this Barred owl finishing off a crawdad hoping he would fly to a better photo setting but, after he was done, he flew out of sight.
