Trial Rides

A test ride on the electric road bike. It's lovely. You are hardly aware of any assistance - you still have to push on the pedals but you find you are going up the hills more quickly than you used to. It's magic. The two hour ride passed quickly. Although young blades still whizzed past me up one or two of the long hills climbing up to the forest. Yes, Essex is hillier than you might think.

A good Fathers Day with a visit from daughter Faye and the three little ones. I cooked them a garden fry up (sausages and chips) and they all had a Knobbly Bobbly for afters.
