Some of our roses

Stuck for a blip so I took a few photos in the garden.
I started m y new book today at lunchtime and thought I would read the prologue and chapter 1. Hmm. I read 5 chapters! It's another one you don't want to put down. I like that it starts in Ormskirk which I am familiar with and goes to Skiathos which I am also familiar with.
Managed some weeding and dead-heading in the garden this morning but was rained off before I was ready to finish. Didn't feel like resuming it this afternoon.
We've had a Sunday roast meal at teatime - pork loin, roast potatoes, white cabbage and gravy.Very nice too.
Extra photo is of my washing up stack which Terry was not impressed with and soon dismantled!
