Homeward bound

I went ringing this morning and Leo met me afterwards so he could join us at Costa.

We then walked back and managed to avoid the rain. I like this spot on our wander home, especially when the greenery is full of life.  On our way home we stopped off at Aldi and Leo spotted some exercise equipment he fancied. We decided to walk home and come back later with the car as there was no way we could carry a barbell and weights home.

I had a go when we got back with the lightest weights since my back would have moaned at anything else.  Leo put in the heavier work.  I stuck to juggling and hula hooping (not at the same time!) to get the rest of my exercise in for the day.

Mum told me we are due a few more mini heatwaves this summer so I will have to make sure to get plenty of outdoor steps in before all that returns.  Once it gets really hot I can’t beat being outside.

Ian was enjoying his last day in the US with a carriage ride around Central Park.  He will be back home tomorrow provided all goes well with the flights and the trains.
