Presentation at the RCAHMS

How I spent my day:

07:30 into work before everyone else to write a report
09:30-12:00 chaired a meeting
12:00-12:20 phone call with colleague at another university to discuss a research bid
12:20-13:00 walked to the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS)
13:30-14:30 presented a paper at the RCAHMS
14:30-15:10 walked back to my office
15:10-15:30 finished report begun in the morning and e-mailed it to colleagues
15:30-15:50 booked travel to a meeting at Loughborough University in June
15:50-16:00 ate my lunch at my desk
16:00-18:00 e-mail and web page updates (instead of a cancelled meeting)
18:00-21:30 "date" with my friend S - she paid for my supper and cinema ticket, and walked me to the bus stop afterwards
22:15 home and blipping

Tomorrow there will more dashing about in a similar fashion, and meanwhile my e-mail backlog grows ever larger...
