The Garrison on St Mary's ( Isles of Scilly )

We are staying on the part of St Mary's called The Garrison.

The map shows how St Mary's has been defended over the last 500 years...if you look carefully you can see the wall that goes right the way around. There are lots of these canons by the wall still, although they probably used more sophisticated weapons in the Second World War.

We got another 4 hour walk in today...including a stop for a cuppa and saffron buns at Juliette's Garden tea rooms.
