I Wish You Peace When Times Are Hard.....

I had a lovely weekend with the best girl in the world. The weather decided to behave, which was just as well as I was ready to box its ears. Of course time could not be wasted indoors when there was sun to be enjoyed and ice cream to be eaten. Having seen those 30,000+ start the London Marathon, we decided that we would enjoy a marathon walk(see what I did there?) and stroll around one of the many parks that our city enjoys. This park also has its own Peace Pagoda, Budhist Temple and Budhist Garden. Thinking back to the dreadful atrocity that took place in Boston last Monday and the staging of the 33rd London Marathon today, seemed to make this title all the more relevant. The title is from a song by The Eagles, a beautiful song well worth a listen.
