We Drank Pimm’s By The Pint…

A complicated start to the day as my friend K had an early hospital appointment, but everything went well and the results were good so I picked her up and we headed south to the NEC for the BBC Gardeners World and Good Food Show where we were also meeting Eldest and his partner J.

We had a lovely afternoon, even in the stifling heat of the floral marquee (think greenhouse). We drank Pimm’s by the pint, admired the flowers, tasted all the foods, spotted Monty Don, had lots of banter with the stall holders and bought some weird and wonderful things.

We left as it was closing to drive down to my dads where we were staying the night. The boys came too even though they weren’t staying but they joined us for drinks at the pub and dinner at a local restaurant. It was a really lovely fun day and nice to spend some time together.
