Rubislaw Quarry

Visited a patient today who has a flat next to Rubislaw Quarry. This is the view from his patio.
Rubislaw Quarry was I think at one time the biggest granite quarry in the world. It's now full of several hundred feet of water and a home for wildlife. There are plans for it to be converted into some sort of tourist attraction in the future.....once it's drained of all the water. Guess that could take a wee while.
