Water Day!

Guess what. 

We're in Wales again
And guess what?

It rained all day.

I feel a million dollars, just by being alive. Some illnesses make you feel that way. You know. The ones where you would rather be dead. 

I don't mind the rain, it is why we live in such a green and pleasant land.

Highlights today:

An Aston Martin DB9 in Newtown car park.

Ridiculous numbers of small birds on the feeders outside the caravan. 

An adult male woodpecker feeding a juvenile male woodpecker. 

Walking Hollie dog and meeting a gentleman who in conversation declared his love of nature and photography. He showed us pictures he had taken nearby, of otter and kingfisher on the river. Truly remarkable images and a complete pleasure!

Tea, bacon baps, time to relax. And more tea.

I saw a remarkable image of Mount Rushmore yesterday, before the faces had been carved into the mountain. 

The natural beauty of the scene was without president.
