Curlew

I haven't been able to get out and about for a few days due to work etc and today I only had time for a short cycle to Scapa pier and back. The wind has been c40km per hour for the last two days, not great for photography. There was a gannet on the water by the pier and I could not tell if it was just resting due to the wind or was possibly sick with the avian flu that has killed 100s of gannets and other birds recently. On the way back I saw a couple of curlews in the field by the Crantit Trail and they're today's shot.
