Triple heart bypass

Dad had a triple heart bypass on Tuesday night and we were able to visit him for the first time tonight. I was amazed when the hospital told me that he was sitting up in a chair the morning after his op and it was great to see him for myself. He's doing really well but was understandably a bit tired at the end of visiting tonight. Part of the problem is that he's being woken at all hours so that they can take blood and check him out etc. They think he'll be in critical care for another couple of days. The round trip, with a visit, took about 3 hours. Chris didn't come in as he felt ill so we both took Covid tests before we left.
