Waiting for Lunch

I watch a family of about 6 young Great Tit fledglings being fed by their parents. It seems even more exhausting than when the birds are in the nest. At least the adults don't have to chase them around then!

There have been about 200 water voles released around the Lake at Trentham Gardens this week. I saw one this morning trying to get out of the wrong end of the pen that they have been housed in until they get settled. Fingers crossed it all goes well.
