Purple Pitcher Plant

Today I went to two bogs.  Eshqua to see more Showy Lady Slippers and the North Springfield Bog to see the Pitcher Plants.  What a great display in both places.  Meet a fellow bog hunter in Eshqua and he gave me his top ten hit list of must see places...all my gratitude.  
The bog in North Springfield has a floating boardwalk which is fun to carefully walk on.  Up and down, wet feet, hopping around.  
Extra is the pitcher portion which captures bugs for the plant to feast on.  Pitcher Plants are carnivorous.
