Piazza Cavour

We took the bus to Como this morning. It was not too busy when we got on, though it soon filled up with tourists and their luggage. It must be very frustrating for locals who use the bus frequently. Not very comfortable for the tourists either.

After lunch in Como we got a ferry for the journey back to Lenno. A much more civilised method of travel. It clouded over a bit in the afternoon, but no rain. There was a shower at about 10 pm while we were out on the terrace. As we were covered it did not cause us to go inside.

On arrival at Lenno we adjourned to the Chiosco di Venere for a glass of wine before heading up to the apartment
