afterglow....

Sitting in the lounge we suddenly noticed the world turning orange! Upon looking out the window we saw that the sky was doing some very odd things. On fire but with very dark rain clouds underneath. it looked incredible. I immediately reached for the camera, to which Charlotte announced. "Surely we can just enjoy it with the naked eye...."

I swear, apart from a little contrast boost there is nothing done to this shot. You can see the natural colour of the blue sky underneath with the plane going through it - I bet that was a great view from the plane. This was taken about 5 steps from my front door.
