reunion

Since Neil and Rhianna are still here from Oz, and it was Granny's birthday the other day, we had a big, Pownall family soiree. The food was marvellous, Juliette made a chickpea chorizo salad that I will have to learn to make. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins- swinging, sliding, jumping on the trampoline and running about (Monkey even learned how to climb the step ladder to get down the slide) At times Chickpea felt a bit left out being younger and smaller than the rest of them. It's a sad moment when your sweet girl comes to you and says with a dejected voice, "I don't have anyone to play with, mommy" Man, I don't know what I'm going to do when they enter the world of mean spirited bullying! I will be a wreck!
