Tommy Works No More

Shelley (Naturelover on Blip) and Al invited a few people out for lunch today to witness the final delivery of Tommy, their mailman who worked with Shelley and me. He is a rural carrier, which means he worked a lot less hard than Shelley and I did. (Not really.)

The young man also played Wallyball (a form of volleyball) with us until we had to give it up.

Picture with Tom is his wife Katrina, who also just retired from teaching on Tuesday. They have some serious travel plans lined up for the next two years, and I wish them the very best.

Hard to believe that I have been retired for 14 years, and Shelley for 13.
