If I could paint...

Bit of a diversion for today's photo. Had a pretty crap day overall (although some nice comments for the Blip Challenge helped) and by the time I eventually got home the clouds had covered the sky and I wasn't inspired enough to head out to find something to photograph.

I had a nice e-mail from someone asking if I wanted to exhibit some of my photos for sale which I think I am going to do (any suggestions for photos you think would be good to see in print would be very welcome). That got me thinking about creating photos that looked like paintings and so I used the last minutes of the golden hour to photograph a wooden flower I have and convert it to give a painterly feel. What do you think?
