La Huasteca

An early morning ride, out before dawn and in the dark with lights, to ride in the Huasteca national park. We weren’t alone, there were lots of other groups of cyclists out, some pairs, some small groups and a couple of pelotons of 20+. Pre dawn, it was cool and with wonderful scenery coming into view as we ascended the valley floor, coming back down the valley was still in shade (thankfully) and just wonderful to see. 

I’ve waited 2 1/2 years to come back and spend some quality time with my team in Mexico, it was well worth the wait and we made the most of it!
