So, I started a beginner Spanish class last Tuesday and loved it. We were set some homework and strongly advised to do it within 2 or 3 days. I told myself I'd do it on Friday, then Saturday, then, finally, Monday lunchtime. So today I faced up to it - and it was perfectly doable.

Have spent some time reflecting on what stopped me - fear of failure and a strong preference for the easy route in the short term. I hope I've learned from this and approach this week's homework with more confidence and gusto!
