Flowers in the sun

The hottest day so far 30 degrees, fortunately a nice breeze too.

This morning had breakfast outside, went to see my friend and then had coffee and cake with another whose birthday is tomorrow.  Called round to see K and then home for lunch.   K came round mid-afternoon and we sat in the shade in the garden, had a cup of tea and then a cool drink with plenty of ice!
Took the photos of the flowers this morning.  I think the butterfly may be a holly blue but stand to be corrected!
