Over the sea to . . . . Mull

After a dull morning we walked down to catch the 12.30 ferry to Craignure on Mull. The weather got better as the day went on and after a breezy crossing we caught the bus to Bunessan to meet Daughter One. 

Later on we drove the short distance to Fionnphort for fish and chips which we ate outside in the sun. So much for the forecast wet and windy day! I was surprised to see fellow Blipper weeflecky who was en route to Iona to photograph a wedding!  We then had a walk over the granite outcrops where there's a wonderful view over to Iona before returning to Bunessan where I took this picture looking over the harbour to The Burg, that wonderful striated cliff.

My extra today is of a daisy making friends with a Northern Marsh Orchid in Daughter One's back garden!
