As I was locking the patio door, prior to a trip to the garage to have a new battery fitted, I noticed the Heron stalking the lower river bank, hence you only get his top half.   I tried to unlock and open the door quietly to get a better picture but his hearing/eyesight must be phenomenal as I hadn't even turned the key and he flew off.
