Rose

Multi rose variants. I cut the ones in the vase because they were getting completely lost under the massive oriental poppy continuing to pump out beautiful pastel pink flowers. And by four o’clock I felt ready to sit in the sun with a glass of rose (how does blip do accents?) and my book. I later added in some sushi to the mix.

All of this counterbalances that I woke up with a sore throat which has got worse during the day and joined by a runny nose. Unlike everything in the first paragraph, this does not bring me joy. I have had to cancel my Icelandic Day plans for the evening which has annoyed me. Last time I felt like this was the bloody Covids.

Enough of the negative! Am delighted with the sun, sushi, beautiful words in my book, roses and the cold rose (with an accent). Happy Friday xx
