There shall be a band, and it shall play.

Old Greg (left of center, blue shirt) has mustered a band of local musicians of various skill levels, just for the occasion. It was one of the two Thursday Dollar Strolls" of this summer. This hasn't happened since 2019, so the stream of outside shoppers and tourists seemed less tiresome, even to me, than it usually does. 
In this shot Greg has just spotted me as he's leading the band. Before the pandemic he'd set up with his regular, professional group and play guitar and keyboards himself. This little niche was one of the spots where it seemed more like a block party than the odd ritual of people standing on long lines to trade little plates of food for a little money.
