Our new front street...

A year ago Seaham ‘seaview’ front street was a place where drivers parked badly, delivery vans double parked, street cafes couldn't offer roadside seating and the area was generally a bit user unfriendly.  In the last year the pavement has been properly paved, the road has been moved about 3 metres from the tables and chairs and made no parking, no speeding (20mph) and generally looks a safer place for all. I hope our threatened summer of discontent doesn't spoil it for everyone.
