Fields Of Green

What A Wonderful World

The green of the country is magical at this time of year, and it is a joy to drive around our part of Scotland.

It is only 5 days until midsummer. Already the green is turning to a Sandy colour as some crops mature. Some have already been cut.

The extra photo shows the same viewpoint at 20:50 in the evening.  The crop has ripened a little during the day. 

We had been to Stirling to visit Herr Doktor HJB. Pat had prepared some Pasta,  Pizza and a Strawberry Cake. We were joined by Pat2. Much catching up to do.

On the journey home, some of the fields glowed like gold. Surprised to see how much the trees had grown over the Pandemic of 2 years or so.
